onset of action
The operation is the only treatment in which the desired effect

examination of surgical specimens at the St. Agatha Hospital in Cologne, we
found that every second patient with thyroid cancer had no suspicion of
malignancy prior to the operation. The cancer was only discovered as a
surprise finding during the conscientious pathological examination of the
surgical specimens.
